Transport to the training Center from the Airport

Transport to the training location from Bangkok airport is by either bus, mini-bus or air-con taxi and costs approx $US10-75.

A Taxi transfer from the airport to the training center can be arranged in advance at the standard rates using our own driver ir required.

Pattaya is renowned for low cost good quality air-conditioned Hotels, great food, and superb night life entertainment. Most hotels in the list are located within just a few minutes taxi ride from the Training Center. The following list is intended only as a guide to prices amongst the hundreds of local hotels catering to the more than 6 Million Visitors Pattaya receives every year.

Assistance with Hotel bookings and airport taxi transfers is available to all trainees if required, following confirmation of your course dates.

For military and commercial clients requiring a single all-in fee, We can also include all your airport taxi transfer costs, daily travelling, Hotel, meals, etc into one all inclusive course fee. Just let us know, and we will prepare the billing paperwork in accordance with your purchasing officers wishes.

Travel VISA requirements

Most western countries enjoy 30day TOURIST VISA EXEMPTION privileges with Thailand . For these countries, it is not necessary to obtain a visa prior to attending your training course in Thailand. The current up-to-date list of visa exemption countries can be obtained directly from the Thai Ministry of Foreign affairs website www.mfa.go.th
Most ‘Eastern-Block’ (Russia, former Soviet Union, Saudi Arabia, China, etc) can obtain a VISA-ON ARRIVAL via a low cost application at the final destination airport in Thailand.
Most African, Most Middle East, and most ‘Third world’ countries will need to obtain a Thai visa in their Passports prior to travelling to Thailand
- VISA SPONSORSHIP FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES: For those nationalities requiring a VISA prior to travel, our company can provide a sponsorship letter to obtain a Thai VISA class E-D Educational visa at your nearest Thai Embassy/Consulate. Important Notes for clients staying in local hotels and guest houses

Our company Easytek Engineering Services Co Ltd is not a Hotel or tourist services booking agent.
- This is a self help page for visiting students attending training at Easytek Co Ltd.,
- You are required to contact any hotels directly yourself to make your room booking
- We do not receive booking commissions for any hotels recommended on this page.
All building owners (Hotels, private residences, etc ) are required by law to take a copy of your passport and report your stay to the immigration authorities within 24 hours of arrival.
Most small hotels and guest houses in Thailand do NOT accept credit cards. Those that do so, may insist on a 5-10% extra to process the payment and a minimum credit card charge of USD10 per charge. Please bring along enough cash to cover your stay.
Hotel room charges do not normally include mini-bar drinks, telephone calls made from your room, damage to bed linen, fixtures and fittings, etc
Internet: All the main social media Apps work in Thailand such as Facebook, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Yahoo, LINE, Google Apps
Internet: Most small hotels provide some sort of wi-fi internet access. However this is designed for guest email and light social media use. Do not expect super high speed unlimited web access. Certain illegal bandwidth hogging programs such as bit-torrents, pornography web sites and other video on demand/live stream applications are blocked at national firewall level.
Unless informed directly in writing, you are directly responsible for booking and settling all local hotel room expenses incurred during your stay.
Unless informed directly by your hotel, meals & drinks (breakfeast, lunch, dinner etc) are NOT normally included in your room charges.
Many hotels will require a small deposit for the TV remote control and room key to cover losses and lock replacement. 1,000 Baht would be typical.
Many hotels will request a ‘joiners fee’ of approx half the room rate plus ID card photo-copy of your guest if you bring a friend back to your room. This is to cover losses and prevent theft.
If renting a local hotel room by the month, Thailand renting practice is to pay a deposit equivalent to one month in advance plus the monthly rent in advance.
