COMPRESSOR OPERATOR member of ASSET
Supplementary qualification (No membership fee).
A person having undergone formal training in the operation and management of compressed air systems, compressors and storage banks.

Complete another suitable Compressor Operation and Management Course, have documented proof of experience and attend a Compressor Skills Assessment and ASSET Standards Orientation Course
Level of responsibility: An ASSET Compressor Operator may undertake the preparation and dispensing of Compressed Air without supervision
Note : This is the minimum grade for the responsible person in an IDEST Approved Station Dispensing High Pressure compressed air in accordance with ASSET CP4 (Code of Practice under development)
